Table-Mate II

Challenge: Tablemate was launched in 1995 with moderate success. The product was overpriced to the consumer and the cost of manufacturing was too expensive. Furthermore the marketing was outdated and the offers not effective.

Solution: Together with the product Inventor, In Clover developed a new marketing offer and campaign to re-launch Table-Mate II. A leading production company was hired to produce a winning spot. The combination of a winning offer both onscreen and on the backend. Created a long term success for the brand.

Success Story: With a proven campaign, the Inventor and In Clover launched Table-Mate USA and secured a major US distribution deal with a leading DR marketing and retail company. The campaign resulted in millions of units sold through DRTV and retail. In Clover launched the product internationally with unprecedented success in 2004 and continues to sell the product today in key markets.


Shamwow Retail

Challenge: Shamwow was a success on DRTV, but the owner needed to leverage that success story at retail. Without the knowledge of the As Seen On TV retail business and competitors on the shelves, Shamwow needed a big player on their side who could maximize the DR success at retail.

Solution: In Clover Marketing worked with the owner of Shamwow and facilitated a distribution deal with a major retail distributor who “believed” in his value proposition. When many retail distributors wanted to force a lower price point, the Shamwow retail distributor understood the value proposition and insisted on keeping the same price point – amidst cheaper competitors that had TV support.

Success Story: The retail deal brokered by In Clover resulted in a massive retail success story. Shamwow went on to replace cheaper competitors and the sell-through at retail was beyond expectations.

 

Invisilift

Challenge: Re-position the existing product. The original DRTV campaign attempted to sell both an instant breast lift and an instant face lift together in the same offer. While moderately successful, In Clover saw an opportunity to take the Instant Breast Lift product and create a new marketing effort around that product only – targeting a specific problem/solution for women of all ages.

Solution: By removing an anti-aging message that came with the Face Lift product, the new campaign could reach a broader audience.  In Clover struck a licensing deal with the patent holder and partnered together with Miller Direct to produce a new creative and a configuration that provided a new value proposition for the mass market.

Success Story: The new offer and positioning as a “fashion accessory” proved to be successful not only domestically, but internationally. The product proved successful through live demonstration. QVC sold out in its first airing in less than 3 minutes. Invisilift's resorts were impressive enough to attract a major mass market DRTV distributor who is currently rolling out the product worlwide.
