Challenge: Re-position the existing product. The original DRTV campaign attempted to sell both an instant breast lift and an instant face lift together in the same offer. While moderately successful, In Clover saw an opportunity to take the Instant Breast Lift product and create a new marketing effort around that product only – targeting a specific problem/solution for women of all ages.
Solution: By removing an anti-aging message that came with the Face Lift product, the new campaign could reach a broader audience. In Clover struck a licensing deal with the patent holder and partnered together with Miller Direct to produce a new creative and a configuration that provided a new value proposition for the mass market.
Success Story: The new offer and positioning as a “fashion accessory” proved to be successful not only domestically, but internationally. The product proved successful through live demonstration. QVC sold out in its first airing in less than 3 minutes. Invisilift's resorts were impressive enough to attract a major mass market DRTV distributor who is currently rolling out the product worlwide.
